Kushina died saving her son. Kaguya woke up from a centuries-long nap and decided the best course of action was to murder her descendants and absorb her children’s chakra to get her power back. When you look at your kids and just see portable batteries, you officially lose your maternal privileges. She is practically a god, but as a parent? Absolute failure.
