8. Sanae Furukawa (Clannad)
I have a love-hate relationship with Clannad’s overwhelming tragedy, but Sanae is undeniable. She bakes bread that defies the laws of physics (and digestion), but when everything falls apart, she is the absolute emotional anchor of that family. You can’t survive After Story without realizing she’s carrying the emotional weight of the entire cast.
I think dekus mom should be on here as well and the mom from a silent voice also that lady was a god send to her son 😭
