Byakuya is Senku’s adoptive father, and his love literally transcended millennia. When the Earth petrified, Byakuya was aboard the International Space Station. Realizing he would never see his son again in his lifetime, he dedicated the rest of his years on Earth to preparing the ground for the future. He founded a village, created the “Hundred Tales” to pass down basic survival knowledge, gathered rare minerals, and even recorded a voice message on a glass record for Senku to hear thousands of years later. Byakuya believed in his son’s intellect until his very last breath, leaving him the ultimate gift: a head start to rebuild civilization.
