8. Regro Burnedead (Mashle: Magic and Muscles)
In a world where people without magic are treated as trash to be disposed of, Regro found Mash as an abandoned baby with no magic mark. Instead of leaving him to his fate, he adopted him, hid him in the forest, and raised him with nothing but unconditional love. Knowing Mash couldn’t defend himself with spells, he taught him to train his body to the absolute limit. When the magic police eventually track them down and torture Regro to get to his son, the old man chooses to die rather than betray Mash, tearfully declaring that his son gave him a reason to live. Talk about an unsung hero.
